Fifty Years of Fitness, Fun and Friendship.
Press Release: For anyone looking to get more active, FLexercise definitely has a proven pedigree offering fun, friendly and effective fitness classes in the community.
The brand inspires loyalty amongst its teachers and class participants, as Carolyn Kingdon and her class members from Peverell, Elburton and Plymouth can testify.
Carolyn was an Associate teacher when she opened the Peverell class, and still in training. Things were to change when her teacher, Lucy Martin, moved to Dubai for three years and handed over the Elburton and Plymouth classes to her. Fifty years later, Carolyn and her classes are still going strong! This achievement was celebrated in style with a delicious cream tea and Prosecco at St. Elizabeth’s House, a delightful boutique hotel – the perfect setting for a party.
The afternoon was a wonderful mix of reminiscing, friendship and fun, greatly enjoyed by all. It was also the ideal opportunity to present five members with certificates marking 50 years of loyalty to the League – Sandy Tucker, Angela Hill, Maureen Gliddon, Anne Searle and Betty Manhire. Warmest congratulations to you all!
“My thanks go to everyone who has stayed with me for a very long time, I’ve loved teaching you and hopefully will continue to do so. Special thanks to Jill Chidgey and Maureen Gliddon for organising everything, the photos adorning the room and the wonderful gifts of patio table and chairs, flowers, sherry, and many, many cards. All of which I’ll enjoy, thank you” – Carolyn Kingdon
